Selecting Investments for Your Account

At the time you enroll in the JRB Retirement Plan, you select the investments for your account and the percentage of your contributions to be allocated to each investment. You provide this information on the JRB Enrollment Form.

Once you make your initial investment allocation, it will remain in effect unless you decide to change it, which you can do as frequently as you like, at no charge.

In deciding on your investments and how to allocate your contributions, you should consider the following:

  • Your current financial situation
  • Your investment objectives
  • Your tolerance for investment risk
  • Your time horizon—when you plan to retire and the number of years you will spend in retirement

You also want to make sure that your portfolio is diversified. Having an appropriate mix of investments can help your account grow and can also help to manage investment risk.
